In 1974, when Stephen T. Swallow, DDS, opened his practice in Kittery,
Maine, dentistry was on the cusp of dramatic advancements. Determined
to keep pace with these revolutionary developments, so he could bring
them to the Seacoast area, Dr. Swallow undertook his own ambitious
program of continuing education in order to master the newest
techniques. It is a commitment that continues today.
He was also committed to building a staff of professionals who share his devotion to providing patients with the most modern dentistry that the profession offers. In the pursuit of this goal over the past 30 years, Dr. Swallow and his staff have closely followed advancements in the dental profession, continually studying and expanding their own expertise in these new techniques as they become available.
In 2003, Dr. Swallow renamed his practice The Center for Restorative Dentistry to reflect the broad scope of services that are now offered. Today his practice can offer all phases of restorative and periodontal treatment. To complement the expertise available within his own practice, Dr. Swallow and his staff work closely with the finest endodontist, orthodontists, and pedodontist in the area.
